Polio Plus – End Polio Now

Rotary has been working to eradicate polio for more than 30 years, and we’ve made incredible progress in the fight to rid the world of it forever. As a founding partner of the , we’ve helped to reduced polio cases by more than 99.9 percent. It’s crucial to eliminate polio from the last three countries where it remains endemic and to keep other countries polio-free. If all eradication efforts stopped today, within 10 years, polio could paralyze as many as 200,000 children each year. For more information on Polio Plus, to get involved, or to donate click here.

Shelter Box

ShelterBox is made up of people who believe in shelter as a human right – that shelter from the chaos of disaster and conflict is vital. No ifs. No buts. When people are plunged into crisis, normality is suspended. But good, quality shelter can cut through the chaos. This is why we provide the tools that enable people to rebuild homes and transform their lives. We do things differently. We were born different. We started life as a small organization in the UK and have grown into an international organization with offices in seventeen countries around the world, including Canada. We don’t follow the crowd – we’ve carved our own path that leads straight to the families we support. For more information on Shelter Box and to get involved click here.
